Unless you’ve been living under a (hopefully very warm) rock, you’ve been watching the historic winter storm hit Dallas, blanketing the state of Texas in snow and wreaking havoc on pipes and electricity. We’ve been shuttling dogs in and out the door as quickly as possible, racing around the house during rolling blackouts, and walking the horse up and down the barn aisle whilst bundled in 29 layers of clothes. It has been an adventure, to say the least! Even my Bernese Mountain Dog, Jake, started teeth chattering when wind chills hit -15 degrees.
But when you have a once in a generation Texas sized storm and a once in a lifetime horse, not to mention a sparkly magical ice princess of a dress that’s been burning a hole in your closet begging for a reason to be worn, you carpe freeze’m – seize the photo opp!
