Each year, PANTONE selects a symbolic color to represent global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude. PANTONE announced the 2019 color of the year – Living Coral – and had this to say about their decision:
“Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.”
Here at Haute Dog, we couldn’t be more excited about their choice! Bright vibrant colors are the hallmark of our dog photos and we love to draw inspiration from fashion, nature, and art. Check out a few of our recent pet photography sessions around Dallas and beyond that were all about that Living Coral before we even knew it was the trend!
Annie looked pretty in pink at Fursailles, posing on our studio backdrop closely resembling Living Coral.
Eric rocked some Living Coral golf shorts during his session with Bear to celebrate the opening of their business, K9 Cinemas. Have you been to these dog-friendly movie theaters in Plano?!
Living Coral kissed the sky above Maus the German Shepherd puppy’s session at SMU, where both his parents graduated.
Snickers the doodle puppy rolled around on a Living Coral striped blanket, and helped us capture the award for Dog Photographer of the Year!
A touch of Living Coral burst through the 2018 Pantone color of the year – Ultra Violet – at Rockwall Harbor, just outside of Dallas, TX.
We can’t wait to create more amazing artwork with this color!
